Function characteristics:
Penoxsulam is a post emergence herbicide that works by inhibiting acetyl lactate synthase (ALS) and is a triazole sulfonamide herbicide. Pentafluorosulfonamide is a conductive herbicide that is absorbed by stems, leaves, young shoots, and roots. It is then transmitted through the xylem and phloem to the meristematic tissue, inhibiting plant growth and causing the growth points to turn green. After 7-14 days of treatment, the top buds turn red and necrotic, and the plants die 2-4 weeks later.
Pentafluorosulfonamide is a broad-spectrum herbicide used in rice fields, which can effectively prevent and control barnyard grass (including barnyard grass resistant to dichlorvos, chloroquine, and acetyl CoA carboxylase), annual sedge weeds, and many broad-leaved weeds. It has a shelf life of up to 30-60 days, and a single application can basically control the harm of weeds throughout the season. At the same time, it can also prevent and control weeds resistant to bensulfuron methyl in rice fields, and has residual activity against many broad-leaved and sedge weeds, as well as barnyard grass. However, it has a certain effect on weeds such as Echinochloa crus. If control is needed, it can be mixed with cypermethrin, making it the most widely used herbicide in rice fields.
